Wayne L. Wilfand is a founding partner with Sinel, Wilfand & Vinci CPAs, Inc., which was established in 1982. He is a licensed CPA in Rhode Island and Connecticut. His prior experience includes the position of Senior Accountant and Associate with David Allen & Associates, the predecessor firm to SWV, CPAs from 1977 to 1982. He began his accounting career with Martin Gottesdeiner & Company, CPAs in 1975.

Wayne graduated Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Estate Planning Council of Rhode Island and the Medical Group Management Association. He also serves on the Editorial Board for the "Your Healthy Practice" newsletter published by CPAmerica International.

Wayne is also active in the community, he is Chairman of the Board of the J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center and is a past treasurer for that organization. He is also a member and past treasurer of the Down Syndrome Society of Rhode Island and a Special Olympics Volunteer.

When he can find the time, Wayne also enjoys playing golf.
